What is Fonts and Guitar?
It's my take on the 100 Day Project, a design exercise created by Michael Bierut and popularized online by Elle Luna. Each day, for the next 100 days, I will bring a popular song lyric to life, using only type, color, and the occasional shape or symbol.
Why? Why would you do this?
To become a better designer
To overcome my fear of showcasing work that's unfinished or not perfect
To do something fun while I go through the demoralizing process of trying to find a new job in a new field
To share my love of music and typography with others
(All the fonts I will be using can be downloaded for free from Google Fonts. So, if you see something you like, start using it. Remember, you are not beholden to Calibri.)
